Newday East is the title for our region's youth work. The Together Weekend at Pontins is our biggest event of the year. But it's not just about getting together for a good weekend; it's about raising and training the next generation to be the church of the future. Our prayer is that from the young people of our churches will come: missionaries, church planters, elders, worship leaders, carers of the poor, men and women who work for justice, people who transform their culture through the Gospel and much more.

So for our weekend we want to create an atmosphere of worship, relationship, teaching and impartation so that the young people of our churches have the best exposure to who God is and what he's calling them to do together. Last year we focused on grace, this year we’ll be focusing on the important values of Word and Spirit.

The Newday East Youth team comprises of all the youth leaders from within our region. You'll see them wearing a blue t-shirt with the Newday East Logo on a the weekend. This wider team is served by the core team who run and plan the program over the weekend. Those in the core team are Jon Beardon (Dereham), Jodi Peek (Lowestoft), Jon Champion (Norwich) and Ben Watkins (North Walsham).
