Pontins Pakefield Holiday Centre

restaurantin Suffolk can accommodate up to 1,400 residents in full-board chalet accommodation. All meals are provided for residents (breakfast, lunch and dinner), from evening meal on the Friday when we arrive through to breakfast on the Monday for those able to stay an extra night.

The chalets range from 2 to 10 bed units and provide flexible accommodation to cater for most individual, family and group needs.

Directions

Pontins Pakefield Holiday Centre is on the A12 London Road, Kessingland, NR33 7PF immediately south of Lowestoft, Suffolk.

By Car
From South: Follow the A12 (north) towards Lowestoft, and Pontins Pakefield Holiday Centre is on the right just after Kessingland and just as you enter Lowestoft.
From North: Follow signposts to the South Lowestoft Industrial Estate and A12. Once you have joined the A12 (south), Pontins is on the left just as you leave Lowestoft.
From Norwich: Take the A146 from Norwich signposted Lowestoft. When arriving at Lowestoft, follow signposts to the South Lowestoft Industrial Estate and A12. Once you have joined the A12 (south), Pontins is on the left just as you leave Lowestoft.

 

By Bus
Anglian Coaches No. 601 from Great Yarmouth to Halesworth via Gorleston, Lowestoft (stops near the railway station), Pontin’s (stops outside), Kessingland and Southwold. This service is hourly, Monday to Saturday, during the day. The service runs as no. 608 between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
First Eastern Counties nos. 99 and 99A from Lowestoft (stops outside the railway station), to Pontin’s (stops outside) and Kessingland; this service runs every half hour, and every alternate bus, service no. 99, is extended to Southwold.
First Eastern Counties also runs longer distance express services, the X2 to Norwich via Beccles (nearest stop to Pontin’s is 1 km away, connections available), and the X1 to Peterborough via Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Watton and King’s Lynn.

 

By Train Lowestoft is served by direct services from London by National Express via Ipswich, Saxmundham and Beccles (approx. 2-hourly); and from Norwich (approx. hourly). Connections are available from stations throughout East Anglia.
